Shehu Sani reveals how the executive arm, forced them to screen an old man as Ambassador

Senator Shehu Sani has revealed how a senate committee had rejected an old man nominated to serve as Nigeria’s ambassador to South African on age grounds.

The lawmaker representing Kaduna central said after the senate rejected the old man’s appointment, his name was resent by the executive — stating that he is young at heart.

The lawmaker revealed this, in a tweet on Thursday.

His words; When at the Senate Committee we rejected the elderly man now serving as Nigeria’s ambassador to the US on the ground of old age,the Executive resent his name. His defenders said he is young at heart and that his spirit is willing & age is just a number.
