Onnoghen’s conviction: A part of a wider scheme
A former minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode has describe the conviction and ban on suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen by the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT as part of a wider scheme.
Onnoghen was on Thursday morning convicted by Justice Danladi Umar, chairman of the CCT for failing to rightfully declare his assets — And banned him from holding public office in the country for the next 10 years.
However in his reaction, the former minister advised Nigerians to brace up as more scripts unfold.
His words: The conviction of CJN Onnoghen by the CCT is not surprising. It is part of a wider plan, an unfolding script and a hidden agenda. Nigerians should brace themselves for more. They say a people get the type of govt. that they deserve. I weep not for Onnoghen, I weep for Nigeria.
