Boko Haram insurgents have killed two persons after raiding an Internally Displaced Peoples(IDPs) camps in northeast Nigeria, Emergency Services said Friday. According to the report, Boko Haram fighters on motorcycles and two motorised rickshaws invaded Dalori camp, Maiduguri, Borno state, on Thursday, shooting people and looting food supplies after overrunning a nearby military base.

People kidnapped along Lagos—Ibadan will be successfully rescued, the Ogun State Police Command assured Nigerians on Thursday. A man identified as Nsisong Okon Etim has committed suicide at Efiat Ikot Edo community in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. The deceased, a 27-year-old graduate was said to have killed himself on Tuesday over alleged frequent disturbances by his mother, step-brother, and landlord.
