I still don’t understand how Soyinka won Nobel prize – Omokri
Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide says he doesn’t still understand how Professor Wole Soyinka won the Nobel Laurette and late professor, Chinua Achebe never won it.
According to the bestselling author, he has read their works, but Achebe’s works are by far, better than those of Soyinka, who won the prestigious prize in 1986 — And that he would give Achebe a Nobel Prize in literature, 100 times out of 100 times.
He tweeted: Between Chinua Achebe and Professor Wole Soyinka, I would give the Nobel Prize for literature to Achebe 100 times out of 100 times. I still don’t understand how Soyinka got it and Achebe did not. I read their books. Achebe’s works are by far the more superior works of literature.
