UPDATE: Police cancels Amber Alert for 17-year-old girl missing from New Albany

The Police in Indiana has canceled an Amber Alert issued for a 17-year-old girl, Carrie May Pettay from New Albany. The alert which was issued just after 3:30 a.m on Thursday was canceled about 20 minutes later, and no other information was provided.

Earlier reports claimed that Pettay was last seen Thursday at 12:09 a.m. in New Albany, and there were reasons to believe that she was in extreme danger.
