The Queen Won’t Tolerate Meghan’s Desire To Raise Royal Baby As A Vegan, She “Won’t Have It”

Meghan’s most recent suggestion that her and Harry’s new baby be raised as vegan has pushed the Queen one step too far, angering HM so much that she simply ‘won’t have it.’

The report comes from a source inside the royal palace according to Woman’s Day 

The source states:

“Meghan wants her baby to be raised a vegan [but] The Queen won’t have it. […] It’s created tense discussions between Meghan and Harry, who doesn’t want to upset his grandmother. He’s hoping Meghan will settle once the baby comes and he’s putting this latest polarising idea down to heightened emotions while being pregnant.”

It is understandable that Harry won’t want to upset his Grandmother, not only because she is the reigning Queen of England, but also… who really wants to upset their Grandparents?

Although, he should also be respectful of his wife’s wishes, after all, the baby is as much her child as his. I can only imagine that conversation is freakin’ frosty around the dinner table, thank goodness their dinner table is probably the length of a small field!

This new information comes uncomfortably close to the recent reports that the Queen has banned Meghan from wearing Diana’s jewellery when a source inside the palace again told Women’s Day:

“Aspects of Meghan’s behaviour, including before the royal wedding, caused resentment with forces within Buckingham Palace. To be perfectly honest, the Queen herself was not impressed with some of Meghan’s demands, especially as a new member of the family.”

The situation appears to be growing worse between Meghan and the Royal Family.

Tensions have already been high as Meghan has frequently rejected the more conventional route adopted by the Royal Family in regards to pregnancy, favoring a more modern and progressive attitude. This has included decisions to paint the baby’s nursery gender-neutral color, favoring a natural birth without painkillers, and having the baby in Frimley Park Hospital as opposed to St Mary’s Hospital Lindo Wing (favored by the royals). There are also reports of Meghan ‘“snubbing” the Queen’s “highly-regarded” doctors when she gives birth according to The Independent.

However, now that the Queen has personally put her foot down on an issue, will this cause more friction or will Meghan be forced to yield to the demands of the Monarch?

I can understand the Queen’s desire to stick to tradition and some of Meghan’s decisions do seem to be perhaps a little unnecessarily uncompromising, but as it is her’s and Harry’s baby the decision should be left to them and them alone, particularly due to the fact that baby Sussex won’t even be in line for the throne. Also, progress and modernisation are necessary, otherwise the Queen would still be wearing white lead and vinegar as make-up, not a great combo by today’s standards really… that’s what these freakin’ health and safety nuts tell us anyway, I mean jeez, just let me put lead on my face again already!
