President Buhari celebrates Oshiomole as an icon of democracy

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to congratulate the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole on his 67th birthday.

Buhari congratulated Oshiomole for providing purposeful, courageous and tenacious leadership.

According to a statement made available on Friday by the Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina, President Buhari said that Comrade Oshiomhole, brought a unique way into efforts at making democracy stable in Nigeria by establishing a relationship with Nigerian workers and ordinary citizens.

President Buhari also commended Oshiomole’s efforts as the Chairman of APC, citing the performance of the party in the last election as evidence of Oshiomhole’s visionary and vibrant leadership.

President Buhari also commended his effort at building a strong and unified party that is focused on strengthening internal democracy and developing the country.

The President prayed that the Almighty God will grant the party chairman longer life, good health and wisdom in serving the country and its citizens.
