Gameshow Review: The Dating Game Nigeria show

Airtel is one of Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications company with the ability to set the pace, anytime any day.

First, they blew us all away with their amazingly captivating adverts. From the Meet the in-laws to the 4G Blender to 4G Gele and lots more, the telecommunications giants haven’t failed to bring their A-game on.

Now, they’re here with a new one, that has left us to glue to our TV. It’s the Dating Game Nigeria show, which is hosted by Nigerian comedian, Chigurl.

This show isn’t your regular dating show, as it is one very funny, highly educative and very interesting way to spend your 9 pm on Sundays.

What we like about the show

The fact that contestants are made to pick their would-be dates, merely by listening to them market themselves as oppose to choosing by physical looks and attraction.

What we think single people can learn from the show

They’ll definitely learn never to be afraid to take a chance on someone they like because you’ll never know where it may lead.

They’ll also learn to be expressive and very confident.

Let’s not forget how being sleek has been opening doors for men since 1901 and being happy, a non-negotiable trait for every woman – As they always sense your happiness from your voice. Nobody ever wants to be around a sadist.

Why we will watch the show again

It’s really cool to watch people talk about themselves, learn from them but it’s even more interesting to see that they’re doing it to find “the one”. Watching people find a partner through a dating show and being first-hand spectators of something that could lead to everything is too lit.

A little something about the show

The dating show is about single people finding a prospective partner not by looks but by how convincing they sound and how well they will make someone who can’t see them, “fall” for them.

Then they finally get to see face-to-face after the one choosing, chooses them by their number.

Airtel then sponsors them to somewhere special for their first date.

How cool can that be!!
