Just In: President Buhari meets service chiefs over security threats

Special Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad has revealed that President Buhari is currently presiding over a security briefing at the State House, Abuja.

National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; Defence Minister, Brig-Gen. Mansur Dan Ali; the Service Chiefs; Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonishakin, Air Vice Marshall Sadiq Abubakar, Rear Admiral Ibot Ete Ekwe Ibas, Major General T.Y. Buratai, Acting IG of Police, Mohammed Adamu, DG DSS; NIA Boss are all in attendance.

Ahmad also revealed that earlier in the day President Buhari had a meeting with National Leader of the ruling party, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu and the Party’s Chieftain, Chief Bisi Akande at the State House, Abuja.
