According To UK Bookies Harry And Meghan Are Going To Name Their First Born “Diana”
Despite the fact that it seems like almost yesterday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex first tied the knot, the Duchess herself, Meghan Markle, is mere weeks away from giving birth to their first child together.
And now, thanks for our complete and utter obsession with the British Royal Family, people are beginning to place their best bets on what the Royal couple will be naming their little bundle of joy.

And unsurprisingly enough, at present, there is one name in particular that is currently being overwhelmingly favored above all others on the list. And that name, of course, is Diana.
Despite the fact that Meghan and Harry are still yet to reveal the gender of their upcoming baby, the British bookmakers William Hill have recently revealed that the favorite name as of yet by far at the moment is Diana, with the odds at 10/1.

Of course, it’s an incredibly obvious choice, as this would be a tribute to Prince Harry’s late great mother, the beloved Princess Diana, who was, as we all know, tragically killed while she was in Paris when Harry was merely 12-years-old.
Although it is the favorite name at the moment, other potential names on the list include Alice and Victoria if the baby is a girl, and Arthur or Edward if the baby turns out to be a boy.
If the couple did end up naming the new little Royal after Princess Diana, then they would be following in the footsteps of Harry’s older brother Prince William and Duchess Kate, who gave their daughter Princess Charlotte the middle name Diana.

If the child does turn out to be a boy, however, the name Arthur is currently a “fan” favorite, with odds standing at 12/1. The names Edward and James are also very popular choices, and they both have odds of 16/1.
Funnily enough, it seems that even more people want to have a go at guessing the name of the next Royal to enter the family this time around, as even more people have flocked to William Hill to place bets on what Harry and Meghan plan to name their child than they did when Kate was pregnant with adorable Prince George, who is currently third in line to the throne.
Rupert Hill, who is of William Hill has himself said:

“Royal baby betting has never been more popular and the public clearly love Harry and Meghan. At this stage we think turnover will be higher for the Sussex baby than it was for Prince George.”
He also said: “The killer blow for the bookies is for the baby to be a girl and for them to choose to call her Diana.”
Harry has previously stated publically that, after the tragic, too-early passing of his mum, he did not speak to his brother enough, nor anyone else, about Diana’s death or how it affected him personally.

In the weeks leading up to this much-anticipated birth, both Harry and Meghan have appeared to have been keeping themselves very busy. The couple flew to Morocco last week together for a royal tour once Meghan had returned home from New York, where she was attending baby showers which had been organized by some of her closest friends.
Well, folks, what do you think? Would you bet on Harry and Meghan choosing to name their daughter after the beloved Princess Diana? Or do you think it’s a little too obvious? What do you think would be a good name for the new little Royal? Let me know your guesses in the comments below! And don’t forget to share this with your friends and family so they can join in too! x
