Let’s face it, museum’s and art galleries can be a little dull sometimes, right? I mean, who wants to spend their day walking around staring at old stuff made by some dead guys? Snore.

Well, next time you find yourself visiting one, you may want to pay a bit more attention to what you’re looking at. You never know… you may spot something pretty familiar in that 10,000-year-old painting. After all, us human’s have come far but… we haven’t come that far.

Below is a list of the most hilarious fine art pictures I’ve ever come across, and I promise you, at least one of them will make you yell out “SAME!”

You see? Even the ladies back in Ye Olden Days wouldn’t take no cr*p from no men! Amen girl!

This is one of the most awkward situations you can find yourself in, and I never believed it possible to capture just how awkward it is visually until I found this picture.

Okay so wait, I gotta come to this place, look at all this old stuff, and I can’t even touch it? Nu-uh, no way, sorry but I freakin’ touch what I want. And let me tell you, it’s not the first time I’ve been caught touching a skull I couldn’t before!

Well, we have ALL been there. In fact, I’m there right now (don’t tell my boss). And I think we can all connect to how this statue is feeling on a spiritual level.

Okay, truth time; I’m usually the one causing people to make this face because I am a serious grammar-correcting-monster (blame my Gran). But it’s good to be able to put a feeling to a face.

I do this 10,000 times a day and every time I seem to look even more WORSE than the time before. It is awful, and we’ve all been there. What’s even worse is when it happens on a day when you’re feelin’ yourself and you are convinced you look pretty cute. Yeah well, THINK AGAIN.

Honestly being a doctor back then must have been one of the easiest gig’s going. You could just spout absolute nonsense and everyone would believe what you said because you’re a doctor and they had no sense to question your methods. amazing.

It’s true though, isn’t it? It’s 2019 and people are still blaming the fact that people are so violent on “video games”… but have you ever actually walked around an art gallery and looked at some of these old paintings? They’re freakin’ bloodbaths!

Ah, another incredibly unfortunate, incredibly accurate one. I swear all mirrors are trick mirrors and have special filters embedded in them without our knowledge so that society can make us feel even worse about ourselves out in public… It’s a theory I’m working on.

We’ve all suffered through disappointing hotel breakfasts, and personally, I think it’s a worse pain than heartbreak. (I really can’t tell you how much I love my friend breakfasts).

HAHAHA. Okay, this one made me laugh… A LOT. A) because yes, it’s the perfect TV-smuggling shape, and B) because once upon a time, women ACTUALLY had to wear stuff like this. Can you IMAGINE?

There’s no scarier thing than kids who seem organized. Seriously though are these kids? What are they doing planning buildings? Maybe it’s just that when this was painted the average age expectancy was 10 years old, so by the time you reached the age of 6 you were already considered middle-aged.

Really, Billy? Do we have to go through this every time? I eat here 4 times a week, we know how this works by now. You can tell me how good the specials are until your face turns blue but we both know I’m still gonna end up ordering the freakin’ chicken nuggets and fries.

Well, I officially feel personally attacked. I ain’t mad though because I LOVE doing this and I still do it now and probably will still do it until the end of my days.

And last but not least, my favorite of the bunch. Can you imagine what it must have been like to sit for a painting for 2 weeks and then HATING it? And it’s not like you can say anything (mostly because you’re a woman) so you just have to spend the rest of your life knowing that hideous painting of you is hanging in the most public part of the house and there’s nothing you can do about it? NIGHTMARE.
