Why We Banned Siasia For Life — FIFA

World football ruling body FIFA had announced a life ban on former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia after he was guilty of bribery allegations by the ethics committee.

According to FIFA, in its Friday announcement, the former international has also been asked to pay a fine of CHF 50,000 ($51,000) about N18.5million. Siasia was said to have taken the bribe regarding the manipulation of matches in violation of the FIFA Code of Ethics.

Under Buhari, Nigerians Negotiate Price With Kidnappers Not Traders — Omokri

Reno Omokri, former presidential aide in Saturday said that under President Muhammadu Buhari‘s Nigeria people no longer go to the market to haggle price.

Omokri, a critic of the Buhari-led administration says under this government, Nigerians haggle with kidnappers rather than with traders.

In a tweet on Saturday evening, Omokri says Nigerians are now used to headlines like: Kidnappers Reduce Ransom on Pastor from 100 to 50 Million naira.

Religious Studies Teacher Rapes, Impregnates Student In Ondo

A Christian Religious Studies teacher with Jubilee Community Grammar School in Surulere under Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Sola Akinyemi, has raped and impregnated a student of the school.

According to the petition acquired by Sahara Reporters, Akinyemi, had been forcefully having carnal knowledge of the student before he eventually got her pregnant.

No One Can End 14-Year-Old Poverty In 4years: Buhari’s Aide

President Muhammadu Buhari’s side on Social media, Lauretta Onochie says it is impossible for anyone to eliminate within our years, poverty that started 14 years ago.

Onochie notes that most Nigerians were thriving in a resurgent economy and that things would gradually fall into place in the country.

Identify And Eliminate Bandits — Buhari Orders Army

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the Nigerian army to identify all the bandits disturbing the peace of the country and eliminate them.

Addressing 15 officers and 160 soldiers of the 17th Army Brigade and Nigerian Air Force 213 Operational Base in Katsina, under the “Operation Hadarin Daji’’, at the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Airport, on Friday, President Buhari, said:

JAMB Arrests Candidate Who Forged His Score To Study Medicine

 

A new report has confirmed that a2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidate incurred has been arrested by the management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for editing his result.

The young man who goes by the name Kingsley Unekwe is said to have increased his score from 201 to 269 with the help of some fraudsters, so he could deceive his parents who wanted him to study medicine.
