Speculations were rift following the disappearance and reappearance of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s Twitter account between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The account which had completely vanished from the microblogging platform Friday, reappeared on Saturday with the verification badge, over 2000 tweets and profile photo missing.

Army Announces Arrest Of Soldier Who Shot Dead A Motorcyclist In Abia Over N100

The Defence Headquarters has announced the arrest of the soldier responsible for the killing of a motorcyclist for refusing to part with N100.

The incident is said to have occurred in Abia state on Wednesday, wherein a soldier, Corp Ajayi, with 2 other soldiers, shot dead Chima Nwaogu, commercial motorcyclist. According to the army, disciplinary procedure has begun, and the soldier will be tried according to extant military law — If the soldier is found guilty, the army said that be would be handed over to the civil police for prosecution.

Probe Obasanjo And Other Nigerian Leaders Since 1999 Who Looted Funds Meant For Power — Southwest Group

A group in Southwest has called on the federal government to urge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other anti-corruption agencies to investigate the $16 billion and other funds spent on the power sector since 1999.

Soldiers Storm Lagos Community After Residents Seized SARS Officers Who Shot Trader Dead

Some men of the Nigerian army on Saturday stormed Jakande in Ijegun, Isolo local government area of Lagos state, over the detention of two operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS).

According to the report, some SARS officers had been taken to the palace of the traditional ruler in the area after a female trader was killed by a bullet reportedly fired by one of the officers who said to be chasing some suspected internet fraudsters aka “Yahoo boys”.

An Indian woman filed a complaint in court after her husband addicted to gambling and alcohol bet her after running out of money and allowed his friends to gang-rape her upon losing.

The woman said her husband and his follow gamblers gang raped her a second time even after he apologised the first time. According to the report, the incident took place in Jaunpur district and the police refused to take action on her complaint which prompted her to go to court.

Twitter has unverified the account of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo with thousands of tweets deleted with speculations flying all over the place. Every single tweet by the VP’s account have all been deleted and his profile picture and cover image have also been taken down.
