Weather For Two: ‘I Raped My Daughter Severally After Losing My Wife – Suspect

Mn of the Ibadan state police command have arrested  Wasiu Orilonise, a 37-year-old security guard for raping his child.

According to reports, Wasiu was arraigned before Oyo State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ibadan, where he confessed to raping his 15-year-old daughter.

The suspect who was arraigned on one count of having unlawful carnal knowledge of his daughter, said he committed the offence because he wanted to test his child’s virginity so he could protect her.

Wasiu told Chief Magistrate, Mr Taiwo Olaniran that his wife died a few years ago after he was asked what led him into raping his own biological daughter.

The suspect went on to say he has been taking care of the victim and her siblings since then but thought it wise to see if she has lost her virginity sometime in December 2018 at their residence in Omo village, Agbofieti, Ibadan.

When he found out she was a virgin, he continued having sex with her regularly before she would leave for school and at night.

The judge adjourned the case till July 30, 2019, and the suspect remanded in Agodi Prison.
