Oshiomhole, 14 others beaten by thugs in Edo state

A new report has confirmed that Seidu Oshiomhole, the younger brother of the APC National Chairman and former Governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole was brutally attacked in Edo state yesterday.

Reports have it that Seidu was attacked alongside 14 other lawmakers-elect in the state while holding a meeting at an undisclosed location.

It was revealed that the thugs were reportedly hired by the state government. 

The meeting according to reports was called for following the Monday midnight inauguration of nine members of the new parliament and subsequent election of Frank Okiye as speaker.

Recall only nine out of the 24-man Assembly elected a new speaker in what many have tagged unconstitutional.

The lawmakers who were reported to have been attacked have reported the case to the Police headquarters.
