‘Is Teni gay?’ – Speed Darlington asks after singer was spotted rocking rainbow socks at an event

The month of June is known as the LGBT Pride Month.

Nigerian singer Teni has however given many to talk about after she was spotted at ‘The Ends Festival’ in the UK rocking a rainbow coloured socks.

US-based Nigerian singer Speed Darlington spotted the socks and immediately took to social media to inquire about Teni’s sexuality.

In his words; ‘Nigeria is she gay? I mean lesbian? is she trying to tell us something’.

He added;

‘I hope not because if she’s openly gay that music no go pop again I know this for sure Nigeria is a very religious country nobody is booking gay musician. She going to need to move to white country for that’.
