Why I think Tinubu made a good choice aspiring for 2023 presidency – Former Minister

Femi Fani – Kayode, a former minister of Aviation says he might not be a member of the All Progressives Congress(APC) but he commends its National leader, Bola Tinubu for aspiring for 2023 presidency.

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chieftain said this in a few tweets on Friday afternoon. Fani-Kayode sai Tinubu’s aspiration for 2023 presidency has broken some myths that the APC is a party of the North. And that the North owns Nigeria.

What he wrote

I am not in Bola Tinubu’s party but I commend him for having the courage to aspire to be Pres. in 2023. How many southern politicians from either @OfficialAPCNg or @OfficialPDPNig have had the guts to do that?If nothing else he has challenged the myth that the north owns Nigeria

He has also challenged the view that the north owns the APC. And that is precisely why some northern hegemonists and irredentists within his own party are now attempting to rubbish him and undermine his efforts. Let us wait and see how successful he will be in his quest
