‘Spread False Tales About Me, Go to Jail’ – Mercy Aigbe Warns Bloggers

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has warned bloggers attempting to spread false tales about her to be careful or they risk being sued.

Mercy Aigbe made this statement while threatening to sue an unnamed blogger who reported a false news over her daughter’s upkeep, which the actress revealed she has been solely responsible for for the past 18 years.

The actress stated that she could have allowed the claim to slide, but henceforth she has made a decision to challenge every form of falsehood.

She wrote in parts;

I could have allowed this lie to slide but henceforth, I have made a decision to challenge every form of falsehood. I know like many media people, this particular blogger might not take me serious. They believe there will be no consequence for spreading false news or if they beg, all will be well. I’m putting it out here to let you know that this particular blogger lied. In the past 18 years I have been solely responsible for the upkeep of my daughter….
