‘Prostitution is not a crime’ – Actress Nse Ikpe-Etim

Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe-Etim is of the opinion that prostitution is not a crime.

The talented actress made this known while reacting to the recent arrest of some women in Abuja at some night clubs in the city.

Speaking with some fans at an event she hosted over the weekend, Nse stated that;

“being a prostitute is not a crime. It is a job they chose.”

Recall on April 27, some police officers attached to the FCTA Joint Task Team arrested 34 female strippers at Caramelo night club in Abuja and tagged them, prostitutes.

Another 70 women were arrested in other clubs and were all arraigned before a mobile court and held in jails before they were all granted bail on April 29.

Not long after they were released, the women revealed that some policemen collected money from then before proceeding to beat them and sexually molest not long after they were arrested and detained at Utako Police Division between April 26 April 29, 2019.
