Nigerian politicians must know that stealing isn’t as lucrative as doing legit business – Ben Bruce

Senator Ben Murray Bruce has said that Nigerians politicians can make more money from doing business legitimately in a growing economy.

The lawmaker who will be leaving Senate soon made this known via a tweet on Friday.

Mr. Bruce noted that stealing from a dying economy is less as profitable as doing legitimate business in a thriving economy — Something that politicians in Nigeria must learn.

H said that corruption can’t the answer but creating wealth to circulate is.

What he  wrote

One thing Nigerian politicians must understand is that you can make much more money through legitimate business from a growing economy than you can make stealing from a dying economy. No one loves poverty. But corruption isn’t the answer. Create wealth and it‘ll circulate to you.
