‘Meghan Markle will be making a huge mistake if she allows her father into her son’s life’ – Ex-wife speaks

Meghan Markle’s dad’s ex-wife has spoken on the Duchess of Sussex allowing her dad meet her son saying she will be making a huge mistake if she allows it.

73-year-old Roslyn Markle, who was married to Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle, 74, from 1964 to 1975, said Meghan should not allow Thomas in her newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor;’s life  because Thomas Markle sr. was an “awful father” to his children.

Roslyn who is the mother of Samantha Markle, the half-sister who often times comes for Meghan told the Mirror that: “Repeatedly he has shown to Meghan he cannot be trusted. She must know that now. I speak not out of bitterness, my life moved on many years ago, but out of concern.

“Archie deserves to be brought up in a happy home, not in this vengeful situation that has been created.”

Roslyn also claims that Thomas Markle cheated during their marriage, abused drugs and starved the family of money so bad at a point she had to steal to feed her family.

She also revealed that her marriage to Thomas Markle saw him “screaming” abuses at her and would “often lose his temper”. Roslyn added that she had to quit work to look after their daughter Samantha, and Thomas would use this against her when she asked for money to buy food and nappies.

Roslyn continued saying after they welcomed their son Thomas Markle Jr in 1965, their hostile marital became worse. She continued saying at a point Thomas sr. drove her and their children to his mum’s house in Pennsylvania and “abandoned” them there.

“It got so bad that one day I had nothing to feed the kids with, I went down the local corner store and got some food. I put some items on top of Jnr’s blanket, but I put many ­underneath it. I am so ashamed, but I had to steal, it was the only way I could feed them.”

Roslyn claimed Thomas always returned home late  “smelling of women.”

Meghan’s father according to her also used cocaine. Recall Thomas Markle Sr. admitted to having had an “occasional sniff”.

Roslyn said she finally found the strength to the marriage after a friend helped her out and 4-years later he married Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland.
