Just In: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Welcomes Baby Boy

Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry and his wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, have welcomed a bouncing baby boy into the royal family.

The baby boy is said to be the eight great-grand child of the Queen of England. The pregnancy was announced publicly last year October during their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Here’s the Buckingham Palace statement in full:

“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.

The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.
