‘I am deeply saddened by Adewura’s death’ – Singer Runtown

Yesterday, social media was hit with the sad news of the passing of missing Unilag graduate Adewura Latifat Bello, who had gone missing on May 15.

News surfaced yesterday that her corpse was found in a canal after the bike she was on, fell into a manhole, an explanation many have found difficult to believe.

Nigerians have since taken to social media to register their pain, disappointment and hurt over the issue.

Singer Runtown has also lent his voice on the issue. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, ‘to say that I am saddened by the news of Adewura’s death is an understatement. A manhole? Whose responsibility was it to ensure that it was covered? Who should be held accountable? This was an avoidable loss. Sending strength and love to her family and loved ones’.
