Family of kidnapped victims no longer wait for police but kidnappers call – Senator Sani reveals

Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Senate, Shehu Sani has revealed that people in areas ravaged by kidnapping have lost totally lost hope.

In a tweet on Wednesday afternoon, the federal lawmaker said that those people in areas plagued with kidnapping now hardly report kidnap cases to authority anymore.

He added that whenever people are abducted, all you would hear is “Sun kira kuwa?” meaning have they(abductors) called?

He wrote: People have lost hope and hardly report cases of kidnapping to the security agents, but only look towards paying the ransom. The most used phrase nowadays in the states ravaged by kidnappings, whenever people are abducted is “Sun kira kuwa?” Meaning HAVE THEY CALLED?.
