Breaking: Peter Cech To Return To Chelsea

Czech International, Peter Cech, has announced that he would retire from active football at the end of the Europa League final between Chelsea and Arsenal next week Wednesday, 29th May.

The 37-year-old shot stopper is expected to join Chelsea as a sporting director at the end of the show piece next week.

The position of sporting director has been vacant since 2017 when Nigerian, Michael Emenalo, resigned after spending almost 5 years in charge.

Peter Cech was a member of the Chelsea squad that won the club’s first ever UEFA champions league against Bayern Munich before going on to join London rival, Arsenal.
