Breaking!!! Justice Bulkachuwa steps down from presidential election petition tribunal

 

Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa has recused herself from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja.

This follows a request by the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Counsel to Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the PDP, Livy Ozuokwu that Justice Bulkachuwa recuse herself because her husband is a senator-elect of the All Progressives Congress(APC).

After much protests from the PDP and some Nigerians, Justice Bulkachuwa who was the chairman of the tribunal recused herself on Wednesday.
