BREAKING: Emefiele confirmed by Senate for second term

A new report has confirmed that CBN governor Godwin Emefiele has been confirmed for a second term.

According to the reports, members of the Senate confirmed the reappointment of Emefiele for another term of five years. TThis confirmation is coming following President Buhari’s letter to the lawmakers asking to be given the confirmation of Emefiele’s re-appointment.

Former president Goodluck Jonathan appointed Emefiele back in June 2014.
