Away from bashing President Muhammadu Buhari, Reno Omokri, a bestselling author and former presidential aide has dished out some good advice on how to manage relationships with colleagues at work.

Omokri has advised people to shun making friends at their workplace but rather focus on making money.

He says confiding in colleagues is pure “foolishness”, as they’d gladly betray you, if the information you have given them with get them favour from the boss.

He says they do this, not because they are bad but because they are there to make money and not friendship.

An office is a place to make money, not friends. If you are foolish enough to trust colleagues and confide in them, they will betray you if the info can give them favour with the boss. Not because they are bad, but because they are there for money, he said.
