Wendy Williams On House Hunt After Filing For Divorce

Talk show host Wendy Williams is no stranger to the subjects of gossip…

But rarely has she been the subject of gossip. In an emotional episode of her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, Williams revealed to a stunned audience that she would be taking up residence in a sober house.

Whilst it was widely speculated why Williams made this decision it is generally thought that the presenter began to struggle with alcoholism following her husband’s alleged affair and the potential he was expecting a child with another woman.

Williams checked herself out of the sober-living house just one week after revealing her situation to her fans. She was later discovered intoxicated to the point she required urgent hospitalization.

Williams retained an optimistic outlook on her marriage despite cheating allegations and spoke out on the subject;

“Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years — we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover.

Williams went on to say, “I’m still very much in love with my husband, and anyone who’s been married, you know, marriages have ebbs and flows. Marriage isn’t easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see this gone,”

Sadly, Williams’ emotional speech could not come to fruition as the pair filed for divorce shortly after.

Now, Williams is reportedly on the house hunt. Now newly separated, it’s clear that the host is looking to start a new chapter in new surroundings.

TMZ reports that sources close to Williams have confirmed she is looking for a new place in Manhattan.

Wendy will be making the move from her residence in Jersey, which she shared with husband Kevin for several years prior to cheating allegations. Clearly, it’s time for a change of scene.

Williams is currently completing another sober-house stint in the Tri-state area where she is receiving round-the-clock care for her addiction issues.

Following her discharge from this facility, it is expected Williams will be making the move to Manhattan. I imagine it’ll be a pretty plush place given her celebrity status!

We’re glad that Williams is dealing with addiction in a wise and mature manner. Doubtless, her struggle is shared by many and we admire anyone trying to overcome these challenges! It certainly sounds like she’s had a hell of a freakin’ year! And though I’m sort of sick of hearing about celebrities buying up ridiculously fancy homes with outrageous price tags… It sounds like Wendy kinda’ needs a nice place to stay right now.

Divorce can be one of the hardest things any of us will go through and I really do feel for Williams at this time. Regardless of fame or fortune, everybody struggles with similar issues and heartbreaks!
