Tottenham have managed to gather a first leg advantage over fierce rivals, Manchester City, following Son’s lone strike at the Wembley stadium today. The two sides would now meet in a pulsating second leg at Etihad Stadium two weeks from now to determine the eventual winner.

Manchester City would be reeling from the first-half penalty kick which was saved by Tottenham’s goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris.
