Tom Cruise’s Children Are The “Rock Stars” Of The Scientology Community That Considers Him A Diety

We’d all prefer to remember Tom Cruise as the death-defying stunt man and scene-stealing actor he is famed to be…

But what some might not know about Cruise is that he’s a follower of Scientology. Though the fact is pretty widely known most people find it difficult to associate the charming Tom Cruise with the community that, at best, can be described as… “kooky”

Although most of us might not be particularly keen on Cruise’s adoption of the new religion there are some exceptions, namely, his adopted children Isabella and Connor. In fact, the kids aren’t just fans of the Scientology community… the community is kind of fans of them.

Okay, okay, so having Tom Cruise as your Dad is probably going to open some doors, right? Regardless of the crowd you find yourself in, they’re likely to be pretty impressed by your high-status relation. It’s also pretty helpful if, within that group, they consider Tom Cruise a diety, like they do in the Church of Scientology.

Although Cruise has been fallen fairly quiet on his faith in the past decade Isabella and Connor (the children he adopted with Nicole Kidman) have become increasingly vocal of their beliefs.

Page Six reported that Connor is somewhat of a Scientology heart-throb (the phrases you find yourself reading, eh?) Meanwhile Isabella has found her place in the religion as an auditor, the 28-year-old’s job title includes interviewing members to confess to their secrets and shortcomings, using a lie-detector…

So where is Nicole freakin’ Kidman in all of this?! She’s the adoptive mother of these kids right? Well, it doesn’t seem like Nicole is getting much of a say when it comes Isabella and Connor who were practically raised in the Church of Scientology and view their mother less than fondly. Generally, followers of Scientology are encouraged to break off contact with all persons outside of the faith. Isabella even reportedly called her mother ‘a f–king SP’, which is an abbreviation of the term ‘suppressive person’ in the faith.

The Underground Bunker published a gushing speech Isabella had penned on the effect the church has had on her:

“ I KNOW… This is a gift to yourself and so many others. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t going to be an auditor or aren’t going to join the staff. If you are going to make it as a being for the long run you NEED this. That’s the truth… The internship, for me, is what made me a Scientologist. I don’t just believe the tech works now. I know without any doubt that it does.”

 

If that isn’t a ringing endorsement, I don’t know what is. Apparently the religion is suffering a decline in membership, which would explain why the organisation is raising the profile of influencers such as Cruise’s children in an attempt to pull in more followers. However, that doesn’t explain why Cruise himself seems to be taking a more resigned role in the movement… unless he’s had a change of heart…

So will you be converting to scientology any time soon, if Cruise’s kids are anything to go by then the whole thing seems like a complete… well… I think I’ll let you fill in your own thoughts there. AAx
