This Bride Created An Incredible IKEA Bag Hack So That She Could Pee Freely In Her Dress On Her Wedding Day
It’s your wedding day! The day you’ve been waiting for your entire life is finally here! And you have planned every. single. last. detail of it to the point of perfection. The food, the reception drinks, the music, the decorations, the seating plan, the dress – THE DRESS! There is, however, one thing you didn’t plan, an that is… how the HECK you’re gonna use the restroom during the day!?
It’s no secret that your wedding day is one of the biggest milestones in your life, a day which you can cherish and remember forever… that’s what they say, at least. But you can’t deny it, especially if you’ve already had a wedding day, as nice as it is, it can also be one heck of a stressful one too.
And with months, sometimes even years of meticulous planning going into this illustrious celebration, you want everything to go as smooth as butter, right? And so you account for every potential problem you imagine facing on the big day. Or at least you think you do, that is.

You know what I’m talking about, you silly goose… you forgot to think about how on EARTH you’re going to manage to go back and forth to the restroom throughout the day in that MASSIVE (yet beautiful) gown you’ve chosen for yourself, didn’t you!? Let’s face it, with the champagne flowing freely all day (because you were the one who requested it) there are going to be very, very frequent pee breaks… and it’s hardly realistic to be getting completely dressed and undressed each time, is it?
No, no is the answer to that question – no it is not. But don’t worry, you certainly aren’t the first bride to not think about this pretty significant detail.

Never fear future brides of the world! For there is a hero among us, and she has found the solution for peeing freely on your most magical day.
Her name is Tina and she hails from the United Kingdom. And Tina really has thought of everything – so much so that she has in fact solved this very particular issue with our old friend the IKEA bag… yep, you read that right, folks, the IKEA bag. Her own wedding DJ actually posted the pictures of her genius hack onto social media – and it very quickly went viral, for obvious reasons.

The hack itself is pretty darn simple. Tina merely cut a hole in the bottom of the big blue wonder bag, then gathers the folds of her beautiful dress and then lifts the bag up while placing the straps (handles) of the bag over her shoulders. And et voila! Now her fancy-schmancy ‘mermaid-style’ wedding dress she no doubt spent a TON of moolah, is now all wrapped up in one neat package, and won’t be sullied or torn by a dirty restroom floor. Pretty freakin’ clever, right?

“Well, I got married a few weeks ago (in a mermaid wedding dress) and I was really worried about going to the bathroom and not being able to … handle myself,” Tina said about her invention.
“Someone helping or watching me going to the bathroom on my wedding day? Not being able to have free hands to use the toilet paper? Or even worse if my period decides to show? NO WAY! Some stuff like this bridal bathroom helper exists but are expensive just because it is wedding related.”
“My bridal bathroom helper hack costs about 0.80 euro and I did it the day before my wedding. It took only 3 minutes. What I like best is it’s almost free and allows me to make my life easier on my wedding day. So here is the hack.”
As you can probably imagine, people (ladies especially) from all over the world responded incredibly positively to this albeit funny, yet very effective Bridal Hack. Below is an example of a select few of the best responses to Tina’s handy tip.
