See Why Nigerians Feel Most Igbo relationships/marriages are transactional “Money for hand, back for ground” mindset.
A young lady, Nneka, on Twitter has sparked reactions from Nigerians after she commented that once a guy asks her out, the guy is already in for financial responsibility even before she agrees to date him.
Nigerians while reacting to her comment have been bashing her tribe with some saying her comment depicts what is expected of a normal Igbo girl. do you agree with them???
Reactions:
What Nneka said is the mindset of 99% of Igbo women. A man is a financial slave to a woman once he has shown his emotional or sexual interest.
Most Igbo relationships/marriages are transactional “Money for hand, back for ground” mindset.

That’s why their men marry late & their women cheat: MONEY.
An average Igbo woman (Nneka) will marry an abusive misogynistic homophobic man who’s twice her father’s age but has money over a man who truly loves her & cares about her wellbeing/growth.

So that’s how this #Nneka girl has made every igbo girl in a relationship look like they’re in a financial freedom scheme. pic.twitter.com/rbD8IK9mJ9

Igbo women aren’t bad, they just love money over everything. Half of their prayer points to God is based off money. “ GIVE ME” same with their men.
Once her husband’s money finishes, her love finishes with it. Usually a 3 month grace period before Nneka starts manifesting.
