Rivers Decides: PDP clinch all senatorial seats in Rivers

Following the commencement of collation of 2019 election results in Rivers State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won all the senatorial seats in the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Betty Apiafi as the winner of Rivers West senatorial as it announced the election results. Thus producing the first female senator from Rivers State.

Meanwhile, PDP’s Sen George Sekibo snatched Rivers East Senatorial seat as collated joining Barry Mpigi who was the first to clinch the first 2019 Rivers senate elections for South East District
