[Photos]: Police arrest woman who forced her 5-year-old into prostitution

The police command in Thailand has arrested a 28-year-old woman for allegedly putting her five-year-old daughter into the commercial sex trade.

According to reports, the woman exchanges her child for payments of Bt200 to Bt300 each time.

 Pol Colonel Kriengkrai Boonson, the provincial police deputy chief told newsmen on Monday that the woman and a 52-year-old unnamed customer were arrested. The girl was also rescued from an isolated location in Tambon Nong Yao.

Upon being busted, the man was said to be caught using a sex toy on the child in a pick-up truck’s cargo bed.

The child has since been put in protective care and her mother has been charged for ‘procuring a child for prostitution, illegal detention and coercion.’ The man on his part, has been charged with rape and molesting a minor under 15.

The woman according to investigations, prostituted her child for months before she was finally arrested.
