[Photo]: Air Marshall’s head cut off by helicopter blade

An air chief marshall identified simply as Umar has been killed by the rotor of a helicopter.

A witness who spoke with newsmen revealed that the sad incident happened in Bama in Borno state on Saturday evening.  According to the witness, the helicopter had developed a fault and the deceased who was the co-pilot had gone to the pick his bags. On his way back, he passed by the rotor which was functioning.

The witness continued saying;

“Immediately his head was chopped off. The aircraft has been recovered and taken back to the air base. No damage was found on the tail rotor.”
