Nigerian singer, Simi had made a call that internet fraudsters popularly addressed as ”Yahoo Boys” should stop patronizing her music.

The statement has raked up a storm on social media with almost everyone dropping their opinions – Some people even bashing her husband, Adekunle Gold.

However just this evening, the singer took to Twitter to say her mom, was greatly troubled by the reactions. It is unknown what exactly the singer meant.

Could the reactions be from the bashings she has been receiving after she read the riot act to the ‘yahoo boys’?.
