Mixed Reactions Trail Court Nullification Of Adeleke’s Candidacy As PDP Governorship Flagbearer For Osun State

Following the Court Nullification of Ademola Adeleke’s Participation In Osun Governorship Election by Justice Othman Musa of the Federal High court, Abuja, Nigerians have taken to their Twitter handle to react.

The court annulled Adeleke’s emergence as the flagbearer of the PDP in the state on the grounds that he did not have the required educational qualification. Adeleke was declared the winner of the governorship poll at the tribunal only a couple of weeks ago.

This country does not stop to surprise me with its event, just last week adeleke was declared winner of osun election this week his nomination was declared void based on waec result. Why wasn't this settled before the election.#Politics

Adeleke has his party members to blame, Rasheed Olabayo and Oluwaseun Idowu, who applied to the Osun State High Court for an order setting aside Adeleke’s election as the party’s flag bearer in the September gubernatorial election over certificate forgery.
