Man murders his wife for making plans to remarry after his death

The Niger state police command has arrested a certain Uwani Danjuma who murdered his wife for having plans to re-marry after his death.

The sad incident which occurred at Uddu Village in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger state saw the man telling the police that he killed his wife after she told him she would remarry if he dies. She made this known while he was ill.

Danjuma said he was really angry with his wife’s statement and in turn attacked and killed her with a cutlass upon recovering from his illness.

The suspect in his confessional statement said he could not believe his wife told him she would remarry when he dies. He said he got angry and cut her on the neck which led to her death.

He added that he does not regret killing her since she wanted him dead as well, and so she does not remarry when he dies.

He concluded saying she will rot in hell with the statement she made.
