Just In: EFCC budgets N288 million for newspaper, fuel and meals

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) presented its budget for 2019 yesterday.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) budgeted N288 million on generator fuel, meals and newspapers in the 2019 financial year.

The bulk of the money is for generator fuel as it takes N225 million, meals and newspapers are to cost N55 million, and N7. 87 million respectively.

This quotation represent 3.94 percent of over N7.3 billion budget the anti-graft agency in the 2019 budget.

Acting EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Magu, presented the budget the budget in Abuja yesterday.

Magu also presented the “Comparative Analysis of 2019 EFCC Budget Proposal and Budget Office Proposal,” to the House of Representatives committee on EFCC.

In the Budget Office proposal, N111 million was budgeted for generator fuel, N27million, and N3. 87 million for meals and newspapers respectively.
