‘I was asked to buy a thermometer before my child could be treated’ – Nigerian woman laments

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to narrate how she was asked to buy a thermometer before her sick child could be treated.

Mmiri Mara Ugo Emenaha,  took to her FB page to share her experience at a children hospital in Onitsha saying a Nurse asked that she buys a thermometer before her baby could be attended to.

She wrote;

Imagine taking a baby to a popular children’s hospital at court road Onitsha and being told by the nurses to buy a thermometer before the complaint of incessant night fever can be looked into.Nursing and Midwifery Council Nigeria
