How Nigeria’s Debt Profile Doubled Under Buhari – Former Aide Reveals
Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that Nigeria’s debt profile has doubled since President Muhmmadu Buhari took over as Nigeria’s head of state.
Reno revealed that before Buhari’s assumption of office, Nigeria’s debt was ₦11 trillion in 2015 but it has doubled more than 100% by rising to ₦24 trillion today.
Reno alleged that despite the increased debt, Nigerians sufferings have tripled. He said Goodluck Jonathan built 14 universities and 165 schools, with loans, while President Buhari has built none.
Reno said that with the increasing debt, the future of Nigerians is being mortgaged away.
