Here Are The 21 Most Hilarious Reactions To PETAs Absolutely Ridiculous “Breastfeeding Cow” Campaign
Hey folks! Prepare yourselves, because I’m about to go on a huge (yet hilarious) rant about one of my absolute favorite things to be angry about… and no, it’s not the Kartrashians (for a change). It is, of course, the ever-so ridiculous and infuriating “animal activist” organization, PETA.
Yep, that’s right, PETA. Freakin’, PETA. Honestly, I love to hate PETA, mostly because they’re just honestly the worst… especially if you’re an actual animal love. It just seems that they’re more bothered about getting a rise out of people and really ticking people off with their “campaigns” than they are actually helping animals. Go figure.
And, of course, their latest “campaign” is absolutely no exception to this whatsoever. In fact, it may actually be one of their worst yet, and that’s saying something.
I mean, obviously, they’re doing it on purpose. They’re positively just not bothered what you say about them or what reaction they get, just as long as they get a reaction… and they always make sure that they do. They live for the publicity – good or bad. FEED off of it even. And speaking of feeding off of something…

…right. Okay. so now we’re all milk-drinking monsters too now on top of everything else. Good one, PETA.
“PETA is known for causing a stir on Twitter if it means sticking up for animals,” they wrote in an infuriatingly smug article about their latest ‘success.’ aka, this shocking, ridiculous campaign above.
“In just the last few months, our viral tweets about animal-friendly expressions and Steve Irwin’s legacy of tormenting wildlife have led millions to challenge their long-held speciesist beliefs and made countless people consider—some perhaps for the first time—that animals have a right to live free from human harassment and exploitation.”
This time, PETA got tongues wagging (for, yet again, all the wrong freakin’ reasons, shocker) by tweeting a cartoon of a cow who seemed to be breastfeeding an old man. Yep.
“Looks weird right?” They wrote. “It’s what you’re doing if you drink cow’s milk. Raise your hand if you know that humans shouldn’t be drinking cow’s breast milk. It was made for their babies — not you!”
Just kill me now.
Obviously, as is often the case whenever PETA post this absolute garbage, people have reacted with derision and outrage… to put it nicely. And obviously, PETA does not care one bit. They got what as want, as per usual – they got their freakin’ moment yet again, and they have helpfully explained their motives in great detail within the aforementioned, smuggy article;
“On social media, PETA uses evocative, emotional messaging, as we have mere seconds to stand out from the feed and grab people’s attention,” they wrote. “We see every interaction on social media as an opportunity to reach people, including those who may never have considered whether it’s unnatural to forcibly impregnate mother cows and steal the milk meant for their babies or for humans to drink milk as adults.”

SO THEN, I guess we’re all pretty much guilty f doing PETA’s dirty work for them, but who can bloomin’ blame us? All the mocking in the world won’t make one lick of difference to them, and as I said before, that’s basically what they want us to do, and we fall for it every. freakin’. time.
If ONLY they spent as much time and bloomin’ effort trying to make a positive difference… rather than just churning out one aggravating, wildly ridiculous ‘controversy’ after another.

A valid question, I feel.
Perhaps… in fact, no, almost definitely the best thing for us all to do would to just out-right ignore them and their alleged “animal activist” campaigns… however as I’m sure you’ll agree, that is crazy hard to do. They just make it SO. EASY. FOR. US.
And it gets even more difficult to ignore when the responses to their campaigns are so incredibly witty, clever and not to mention… completely hilarious, such as every single one of these examples below.

Do you see what I mean? It’s almost hard to actually hate PETA when the controversy they cause brings such massive laughs to my life on a day to day basis.
Anyway, who is responsible for the original cartoon of the cow breastfeeding the old man? Who on earth could they possibly find and pay enough to actually create something so outrageous? Well, surprise surprise (meaning to no surprise at all), the original cartoon was by a “vegan rapper” (yep, they exists now apparently) named Freebison (!?) who is apparently the founder of the world’s first ever “vegan art movement” (!!?!!?)
And no, I checked, this isn’t some kind of prank.

“WE ARE ARTISTS. WE ARE ACTIVISTS,” they write. “Everything is CREATED in balance and just as one can CREATE, one can destroy. BISON is consciousness to protect life, not take it…BISON is family, regardless of difference, race or species…”
I mean yeah, it would be really really great if PETA could just like, shut the heck up and disappeared off of the face of the planet for the rest of time… however, that would also mean I’m missing out on this constant quality stream of anti-PETA sass, and honestly, I’m just not ready to give up on that just yet.
I guess just like death and taxes, the fact that PETA will be around for a long time to rile the people of the internet up is just one of those things that can 100% to be counted on to happen. Just like that ex you can’t seem to shake no matter how hard you try… PETA will be sticking around like an incredibly irritating rash for a long, long time.
As for now, I’ll leave with what I feel deep down is the real reaction PETA hoped to receive from all this ridiculousness;

That it does Barry. That it does.
Well, folks, you already know how I feel, but how about you? Has this campaign inspired you to stop drinking cows milk… or maybe even inspired you to go out and… well… y’know… “get intimate” with everybody’s favorite farm-yard animal?? (Obviously, I’m kidding). Anyway, whatever you think, I want to hear it, so let me know in the comments! And don’t forget to share this with your friends and family so that they can join in on all the laughter and infuriation too! AA x
