Empowered Bride Brilliantly Exposes Cheating Husband At Their Wedding Alter

A wedding is supposedly ‘the happiest day of you life’, but for bride-to-be Casey it was a day of betrayal which she managed to turn into an empowering moment of ‘honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.’

Yes, I know it might sound a little unbelievable, but bear with me for a moment! The night before the day of Casey and Alex’s wedding, she received a slew of messages, screenshots and selfies which proved that Alex had been cheating on her… and not just once. The texts were apparently dated from between months to mere days before.

The texts read such delightful things as:

“This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game”

“Your body is fucking incredible. And shit do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do.”

with a message from the woman who had sent the incriminating texts saying, ‘I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?’

In her tell-all article with Whimn she described every word as, ‘like a dagger in my heart and my wedding was only hours away.’

But wait… despite her friend’s violent protestations to break up with him there and then and call of the wedding (and much worse I can imagine), Casey decided she’s go through with the wedding, but do it a little differently to how he expected.

 

Casey walked down the aisle in an emotional state which I cannot even begin to comprehend, and stood at the alter when she made her announcement. Producing her phone from her bouquet (I like to imagine with a powerful flourish), Casey proceeded to announce, ‘There will be no wedding today […] It seems Alex is not who I thought he was.’

She then read out all of the messages that she had been sent regarding Alex’s infidelity; and as Alex scarpered off with his best man in tow, Casey closed with this emotional statement:

“I love all of you and as horrible as this is I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”

I cannot freakin’ imagine being able to make it all the way to alter before I charged him and kicked him in the fun sacks so hard it’d be a long freakin’ time before he could sit down properly… not that I condone violence of the kicking in the fun sacks sort, no matter how much of an a**hole the guy is!

I also can’t imagine how uncomfortable that ‘not-a-wedding-reception- reception must have been at the start. Casey did say that it was ‘one hell of a party.’ I suppose it’d be a waste to let all of that food and drink go to waste anyway! Also, imagine spending money on a dress for a wedding and then not being able to wear it because the groom-to-be was having an affair. I’m getting freakin’ annoyed about wasting money on a hypothetical wedding outfit for a wedding I wasn’t even at!

What do you think of Casey’s way of handling the news of her boyfriend’s infidelity? Would you have handled it differently in her situation or do you think she made the right move? I will not accept any more suggestions of kicking delicate areas however. AAx
