Defiant Mom Defends Publicly Breastfeeding Her Baby In Epic Poem

It’s well documented, women’s breasts are considered to be at their most obscene when they’re serving their biological purpose.

Come on now, folks. It’s not against the law to breastfeed in public but the way some freakin’ people carry on you’d be forgiven for thinking it is! I think we can all agree that when a baby needs feeding the baby should be fed. Y’know ‘cos it’s a baby and it’s going through an integral period of growth and brain development but whateverLet your preoccupation with ‘indecent exposure of the areola’ define your life.

I used to find that guy attractive… Now I realise he is weak. Seriously?! What does it matter if a woman breastfeeds or not, or wants to talk about it or not? Jeez.

Understandably, mother’s are a bit fed up with this nonsense. They don’t want their little one going hungry but they also don’t want to be banished from public spaces every time junior needs a feed. Why should mother’s have to sit in restaurant toilets, or hide away indoors every time they need to attend to their babies needs?

They’re sustaining a human life all on their own and it’s something we should celebrate!

You go momma’s! We’re proud of you!

One Mom had officially had enough of other’s judging her public breastfeeding. Because apparently some people can’t mind their own freakin’ business when a woman needs to feed her child. So Whitney Renee Huntwork, mother of two bouncing baby boys, responded to the upset in a truly innovative way.

She wrote a poem addressing the breast-phobic members of society, making it clear she does not care for their opinions.

Here’s Whitney, breastfeeding her baby in the supermarket. That’s a heck of a powerful stance she’s making in the wine aisle… I’m a big fan!

This is the photo that accompanied Whintey’s shame busting poetry on the subject of public breastfeeding. Whitney wrote:

“Anytime. Anywhere. You can stare, I don’t care. I’ll feed my hungry child, here or there, if you don’t like my boob I still don’t care.”

Okay, so it’s not exactly Walt Whitman… but we’re still here for it!

She’s taking no prisoners and we couldn’t be happier. You tell ’em Whitney!

The poem goes on:

“A Restaurant? A store? It’s boob juice galore! A theater? A museum? But your more focused on trying to see them! Bottle or boob Its all just food.”

She speaks the truth! People tend to not have a problem with boobs popping up everywhere! In adverts, in shop fronts, in music videos, films and TV shows, but the minute we put the girls to use for their actual purpose?! Heaven forfend.

They’re just serving their purpose people!

The poem continues:

“You still think I should cover? You should run and tell your mother. Pull out your phone and take a picture? But I’m the one who’s the problem? Don’t you wish we could all mind our business? That would sure solve them!”

Yeah! Go tell your mother! But all she’s going to tell you is that once you needed feeding too! And she sure as hell hated having to hide away to feed you!

But she’s not done handing out the literary lesson of a lifetime. Whitney concludes:

“Think I am disgusting? I could say the same? Think I am playing an attention seeking game? You are wrong because you see, really I am only worried about the comfort of my baby and me!”

Whitney did not come to play or spend expend time dealing with fools who question her actions as a mother. Take note ladies and gents! Do right by you and the ones you love and learn to filter out the naysayers!

We love this creative response to the issue! Do you think rhyme is the best way to change a persons mind? Or is there another way we need to find? See what we (tried) to do there?? AAx
