Buhari’s aide roasted over “senseless” comment against Omotola Jalade

President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on new media, Bashir Ahmad has come under severed attack from Nigerians for being “disrespectful” to Nollywood veteran actress, Omotola Jalade who spoke up against the president and his vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

Omotola had described the life of an average Nigerian under the present government as “hellish”. The actress said the lack of circulation of money coupled with the fervent attacks and assaults on innocent Nigerians, have made life under Buhari/Osinbajo “hellish”.

However Ahmad in his response said that the people who ” work” aren’t complaining and will never refer to the country as ” hellish’.

Many of those who roasted Bashir said there’s no correlation between his response and the points that the actress raised —  Adding that being a presidential aide, doesn’t give him the right to “insult” people especially people like Omotola, who built a career from nothing.

He wrote:

Madam Omotola those who are working for CLEAN money are not complaining and will never refer our dear country as ‘hellish’. In Kano State alone, from 2015 to 2018, no fewer than 200 medium and small scale rice milling centres emerged. For that, billions circulated among millions. https://t.co/nWprKIgpLC
