9th Assembly: PDP should respect our candidates – APC chieftain

The deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yekini Nabena has said that the party’s decision on the selection and zoning of principal officers for the incoming 9th National Assembly is supreme.

Nabena stated this while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday in Abuja. Nabena stated that the decision of APC on the leadership of the 9th Assembly is supreme and it must be respected by lawmakers elected on the party’s platform.

Nabena also demanded respect of APC’s decision by opposition party.
He, therefore, cautioned the outgoing President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara to steer clear of the leadership in both legislative chambers.
