What Shehu Sani said about proposed Rerun elections by INEC

Senator representing Kaduna Central at the Red Chambers, Shehu Sani has weighed in, on the proposed rerun elections recently announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

INEC had announced its decision to conduct rerun elections in states were the March 9, governorship/House of Reps elections were declared inconclusive.

The rerun elections according to the electoral commission will hold on March 23rd in Adamawa, Bauchi, Benue, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto.

In his reaction, the outspoken federal lawmaker described such elections as “resit examinations” for the ruling party – in post he shared via his twitter handle on Wednesday morning.

He wrote:

Rerun polls are Resit exams for the ruling party.
