Tom Cruise Has Actually Banned Ex-Wife Nicole Kidman From Their Sons Wedding
Divorce can be a messy, messy thing – especially when there are kids involved. But you would hope, as time goes by, it gets a little less messy and a little more easy for the divorcees to see eye to eye from time to time, right?
Unfortunately, this just isn’t always the case for a variety of reasons, and nothing is a better example of this than the battle that seems to be currently raging on between Tom Cruise and his Ex-wife of 18 (yes, that’s right, EIGHTEEN) years.

You see, reports have recently flooded in that Tom Cruise has actually banned his ex-wife Nicole Kidman from attending their own son’s wedding. But hey, at least that’s something you can think about to help yourself feel a little better whenever you get the sense that you may be acting pretty petty, right?
Anyway, the 24-year-old son in question, whose name is Connor Cruise if you didn’t already know, will be tying the knot with his Italian girlfriend during a Scientology ceremony (while, if you asked me, is a whole other kettle of fish), however, his dad (aka, Tom Cruise, you may have heard of him) has reportedly refused to allow his former spouse (aka Nicole Kidman, you may have heard of her) to be in attendance.

According to a variety of reports online, a very trust-worthy source told RadarOnline:
“Tom is behind this and what he wants is as good as law. Tom made the call and Connor followed.”
The insider also told the news outlet that Connor ‘worships the ground his father walks on’ and would never, ever defy his wishes… no matter who they may negatively impact.
In case you had forgotten (because I’ll be honest with you, I 100% had absolutely, completely forgotten) Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman got hitched wayyyyy back in 1990. They later adopted two wonderful children – Connor (the 24-year-old groom-to-be) and Isabella who is 26-years-old… and whose wedding Kidman apparently also missed back in 2015 – alas, after the A-list couple suddenly split, it was Cruise who ended up claiming custody of their kids.

The source then reportedly went on to say this:
“First, Tom would never even consider inviting Nicole to Connor’s wedding because she’s considered a ‘suppressive person’ by the church – and, second, he doesn’t want her there.”
This honestly shocking (and somewhat infuriating news) comes after a former follower of the Scientology religion, Leah Remini, bravely opened up about her time being within Scientology, while also claiming that Cruise is pretty much considered to be a ‘deity’ (aka, some kind of God) by many of its followers.
In the wild words of the 48-year-old herself:
“Scientologists are told that Tom Cruise is saving the world single-handedly, so he is considered a deity within Scientology. He is second to David Miscavige – the savior of the free world. Tom is even called ‘Mister Cruise’ by staff members.”
She also went on to claim that the hierarchy within the church tries their absolute best to make sure the actor never sees anything negative about the religion, like, ever.
She added: “Scientology goes to great lengths to not allow Tom to see anything disparaging about Scientology. They’ll go so far as, if he’s going to walk a certain place, they’ll make sure there are no magazines that are anti-Scientology, so he can’t see that.”

…Right. Maybe Scientology is also behind the reason why he keeps somehow being offered big movie roles? Because let’s face it… it has nothing to do with his acting talent… right!? (Yeah I went there, consider those shots FIRED Mr. Cruise!)
Anyhow, at the end of the day – and completely unsurprisingly – both Connor and Isabella have followed in their famous Dad’s strange, strange footsteps as a practicing Scientologist, so much so that Isabella has reportedly even claimed that the cult had helped her to find a ‘missing piece’ of her life after she qualified to be an… auditor!?
Look… at the end of the day, it’s each to their own I guess. The way they choose to live their lives has no effect on ours so it shouldn’t really bother us, should it? I do feel upset for Nicole Kidman, however. No matter who you are or what you believe, it can’t be a great feeling knowing that you’re actually BANNED from attending own child’s wedding.
Here’s hoping they at least send her a gift bag or a photograph or something… I guess!?
Okay folks, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this one! First of all, have you ever been banned from an important family event before!? And how do you feel about the whole ‘Scientology’ cult situation? Let me know in the comments! And please remember to respect everybody’s opinion! Also, don’t forget to share this with your friends and family so that they may join in on the debate too. AAx
