Supplementary Elections: Go Out And Win The Trust Of People, I Will Not Abuse My Office For Your Favor, Buhari Warns APC Governorship Candidates

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari would not manipulate Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in favor of All Progressive Congress(APC) Gubernatorial candidates in Sokoto, Kano, Adamawa, Plateau and Benue, where supplementary elections are expected to take place.

Shehu, while speaking further added that they should work for their victories if they are sincere about serving the people.

The statement:

“Party members in states where there will be supplementary elections then need to be reminded that they need to work hard to earn their people’s votes, rather than expect President Buhari to manipulate INEC in their favor.
